Η γαλλική πολυεθνική εταιρεία Sanofi και η βρετανική GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK) ενημέρωσαν την Τετάρτη ότι θα ζητήσουν ρυθμιστική έγκριση για το εμβόλιο τους κατά Covid-19.
Ο Εκτελεστικός Αντιπρόεδρος της Sanofi Thomas Triomphe δήλωσε ότι «το εμβόλιο Sanofi-GSK αποδεικνύει μια καθολική ικανότητα να ενισχύει όλες τις ηλικίες». Ο πρόεδρος της GSK Vaccines Roger Connor πρόσθεσε ότι «αυτό το εμβόλιο μπορεί να παίξει σημαντικό ρόλο καθώς συνεχίζουμε να αντιμετωπίζουμε αυτήν την πανδημία και να προετοιμαζόμαστε για την περίοδο μετά την πανδημία».
