Iakovos Michalitsis is a Senior Executive with track record and years of success in executive and operational/ financial positions, delivering demanding growth objectives, within diverse, conflicting & rapidly changing multinational environments. His academic background consists of his bachelor’s degree in Εconomics with Distinction, from Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Master in Science in Investment Management with Distinction, from CASS Business School, City University, London.

Since 2006, his employment includes several important positions in Bausch + Lomb Inc, such as CFO Greece, Regional Finance Director Central & S.E Europe, Middle East, Africa, General Manager for Greece, Cyprus & Malta, Balkans & South Africa Cluster spanning to General Manager South Europe Iberia, Italy, Greece & Balkans.

Current position

Since 2023, he holds the Bausch+Lomb General Manager South Europe Iberia, Italy, Greece, Balkans position. Some of his demanding tasks & objectives are leading the $100 mil Hub and managing the Bausch + Lomb team in meeting tough performance improvement goals and turning around operations, built through acquisitions, experiencing significant operational & cultural changes.
