Μανώλης Κόντος

Manolis Kontos is currently Group CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS AG, an accomplished international business leader with over 25 years of experience driving growth and operational excellence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He began his career in 1995 at Colgate Palmolive in Greece, rising to Head of Financial Reporting by 2000. From 2000 to 2007, he served as Finance Director for Greece, MENA & European Development Markets, and CEE at General Mills, before taking on the role of Financial Controller for the Greek Business Unit at Coca-Cola Hellenic. He continued as Group CFO at Korres Natural Products in Greece until 2011. From 2011 to 2018, he held progressive leadership roles with General Mills, initially as Finance Director Middle East, North Africa & Turkey based in Dubai, then as General Manager Sub-Saharan Africa in Johannesburg/Dubai, and ultimately as Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa Region. In 2018, Manolis Kontos joined INFORM, a company listed on the Athens Exchange, as Managing Director before being promoted to Group CEO.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of Athens and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Ο Μανώλης Κόντος είναι σήμερα ο Group CEO και Πρόεδρος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της AUSTRIACARD HOLDINGS AG. Ξεκίνησε την καριέρα του το 1995 στην Colgate Palmolive στην Ελλάδα, φτάνοντας στη θέση του Head of Financial Reporting μέχρι το 2000. Από το 2000 έως το 2007, υπηρέτησε ως Finance Director στη General Mills για την Ελλάδα, MENA & Ευρωπαϊκές Αναπτυσσόμενες Αγορές, και Κεντρική Ευρώπη, προτού αναλάβει τον ρόλο του Financial Controller της Coca-Cola Hellenic. Συνέχισε ως Group CFO στην Korres Natural Products στην Ελλάδα μέχρι το 2011. Από το 2011 έως το 2018, κατείχε ηγετικούς ρόλους στη General Mills. Το 2018, ο Μανώλης Κοντός εντάχθηκε στην INFORM, μια εταιρεία εισηγμένη στο Χρηματιστήριο Αθηνών, ως Managing Director πριν προαχθεί σε Group CEO.

Κατέχει πτυχίο Οικονομικών από το Εθνικό και Καποδιστριακό Πανεπιστήμιο Αθηνών και μεταπτυχιακό τίτλο σπουδών στη Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων.
