Το Facebook και η βασική ομάδα προϊόντων του, κατατάσσονται στις πιο δημοφιλείς εφαρμογές παγκοσμίως.
Με περισσότερους από 2,6 δισεκατομμύρια μηνιαίους ενεργούς χρήστες, το Facebook είναι τα πιο δημοφιλή κοινωνικά μέσα παγκοσμίως. Με ένα κοινό αυτής της κλίμακας, δεν αποτελεί έκπληξη το γεγονός ότι η συντριπτική πλειονότητα των εσόδων του Facebook δημιουργείται μέσω διαφημίσεων.
Η Ινδία φαίνεται πως αγαπά ιδιαίτερα το Facebook, αφού πάνω από 290 εκατομμύρια Ινδοί χρησιμοποιούν τη δημοφιλή πλατφόρμα κοινωνικής δικτύωσης. Σκεφτείτε το διαφορετικά. Εάν το κοινό της Ινδίας στο Facebook ήταν μια χώρα, τότε θα ήταν τέταρτη ως προς τον μεγαλύτερο πληθυσμό παγκοσμίως.
Βέβαια, εκτός από την Ινδία, υπάρχουν αρκετές άλλες αγορές με περισσότερους από 100 εκατομμύρια χρήστες Facebook. Ας δούμε τη λίστα με αυτές τις χώρες παρακάτω, όπως τις κατέγραψε το Statista.
