Σύμφωνα την Global Firepower, η Κίνα διαθέτει σήμερα περίπου 2,19 εκατομμύρια ενεργό στρατιωτικό προσωπικό.
Η τελική κατάταξη χρησιμοποιεί πάνω από 50 μεμονωμένους παράγοντες για να προσδιορίσει το σκορ «Power Index» ενός συγκεκριμένου έθνους με κατηγορίες που κυμαίνονται από στρατιωτική δύναμη και οικονομικά έως υλικοτεχνική ικανότητα και γεωγραφία.
Για το 2021, η Ελλάδα βρίσκεται στην 29η θέση με Power Index 0.4954.
